JA Julio Marra (now a member here) was the promoter at Aquasco Speedway and Capitol Raceway that had motorcross racing in the early '70's. One of the most famous persons' I remembered racing at Aquasco was Coach Joe Gibbs of the Washington Redskins' son. Now running the Gibbs Motorsports in NASCAR.
Who else do you remember racing there, Julio?

Tell us about yourself
Went to my first race at West Lanham Speedway, West Lanham< Md. in the late '40's. Remember the motorcycle races at Piney Grove Speedway in District Hgts, Md. & Vista Speedway (a track owned by a black family) in Glendale, Md. After that iw was AAA races in Williams Grove in Pa. Boats in a Hains Point in D.C. & drag racing.
And this site is "outasite" and (JA) Jack Approved!
